Xanadu Friday the 13th around 10PM-12AM

You were in all black with a red beanie like the one in that one Marvin Gaye album cover. I think you had a nose ring too, like me. I was wearing red tights with shorts and red sunglasses.

I was there with a few people for friend’s birthday. I made it clumsily around the rink a couple times (with help) before deciding to just drink whisky sours and watch.

You were so beautiful in your element. I regret not saying so when we were waiting at the bar at the same time. I think you saw me point you out to my friend from the sidelines.

Once the band started up I lost you. Did I lose you forever? Maybe Friday the 13th can be good luck!
