I admired intermittently your upright bearing, careful air, and beauty in profile for a spell while we both sat and read at the bar. You I'm sure didn't notice me (curly hair; letters of Kenneth Rexroth) at all so this is less a missed connection than an appreciation into the void. But perhaps it pleases you to know that your mere presence pleased another.
