It was Sunday Feb 2, the week before Super Bowl around 6 or 7pm. I was in suit and tie, working at a laptop. You (Gorgeous female (Like Joan Chen!) red winter coat - like a Canada Goose) entered Sweet Moment in Chinatown, approaching your friends (guy and a girl) who sat next to me. They called for you, but time stood still as you and I experienced 'love at first sight' (we're definitely attracted to one another). It seemed like an eternity before we broke eye contact. The 3 of you spoke about steak, red wine and manicures. Your friends kept saying, "We're gonna be late for dinner." You kept saying, "No, we have time."
As you rose to leave, I engaged the three of you, saying that I wasn't eavesdropping, but I enjoyed your conversation, finding it enlightening, even though it "went off the rails at times." The four of us shared a laugh. I had every opportunity in the world to ask your name, exchange numbers, and I didn't (I'm not shy, not married, but had a good reason, though in hindsight I realize we were supposed to exchange info). You dragged behind, seemingly to give me a chance to be your Knight in shining armor, as you looked back and said, with hope in your voice, "Well, good night". I generically stated, "Nice coat". You thanked me (disappointed in me I'm sure) and I never saw you again. I'm single and no problem meeting women, but focusing on my successful business, and regret not exchanging contact.
Being a true romantic, I went back every night for a week before I had to travel for 2 weeks. When I returned to NYC I went back to no avail.
I recall that you and your female friend teased your male friend about his long legs at those kid size tables. He said you had a phat a** in good humor. I love steak, read wine, and mani/pedis too!
