Earlier today, I was standing next to you at the ferry terminal waiting to board the 3:00pm ferry on the Manhattan side. You were busy on your phone and wearing AirPods and I didn’t want to interrupt. The ferry was going to board soon anyways and there was just too many people around to be comfortable starting a conversation. I didn’t think I’d see you again but as I was walking to the ramp where my bus was, you were headed the same way and I passed you by in a hurry. The bus I take is extremely inconsistent especially on weekends and it was there so I didn’t want to miss it but I really wanted to say hello to you.
