To the stranger at the bar two nights ago—
Amidst the crowd, you stood alone until your friend arrived late. You apologized while reaching for your 2 margaritas & we shared a smile & a quick chat about your drink choice before you disappeared into the night.
Leaving the bar area, there you were again. Our eyes locked as if the crowd vanished & I was too caught up in your gaze to look away or even smile properly.
Now, I’m kicking myself for not engaging or the very least, asking your name.
I could wait for some serendipitous moment or take a chance I didn’t take then-so if you care to join me for better margaritas & fewer crowds, my name is Tiffany C.
