I was on NJ Transit coming back to the city and a really cute guy got on at Newark Airport and sat across the aisle from me (August 18 around 3:15pm). There wasn’t room for his big suitcase anywhere so I told him he could put it in the leg space of the seat next to me since no one was sitting there. We started chatting and it turns out he’s visited my favorite place in the world and has even eaten at one of my fave restaurants there and used the same sky diving company - a lot of very specific things in common. We end up getting on the same subway, chatting the whole time. We went one stop to 42nd and he said unfortunately that’s where he needed to get off. I was flustered and bummed he was getting off and didn’t think I had enough time to get his phone number. I thought about getting off to find him but I hesitated too long and the subway doors closed.
This is what I know about him:
-His name is Steven (Stephen?)
-He’s probably 5’10” or so with dark brown kind of wavy hair, dark eyes, great smile
-He’s originally from LA but has been in New York for 4 years
-He just flew back into town from visiting a friend in Nashville
-He is currently between jobs and took 6 months to travel. (We specifically talked about New Zealand, Australia, Japan.)
-Since he got rid of his apartment in the city, he’s currently staying with his sister in Greenwich, CT, which is where he was heading.
-He went to school in Philly
-He works in real estate
